The Two Towers review by Jackass Jon

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, a one minute review...

The Review

It is now 3:49 a.m., Wednesday, December 18th, 2002. I have just returned home with my son in tow after seeing the first showing of The Two Towers in the Eastern U.S. time zone. My eyes are bleary and the ride home was plagued by a drunk driver and complete sheets of black ice on every surface street home.

The movie was everything I had hoped for and everything I expected. My son is ecstatic and most likely won't sleep until tomorrow morning (at school). This being a one minute review, I'll keep it short and simple. Go See The Movie! Forget work, forget school. It's a must see. I won't ruin it for you if you haven't seen it yet (how could you. Ha Ha) but the scenery is fabulous, the characters are fantastic and the flow of the story is perfect. Even if you have read the books (long ago or recently), you will find yourself holding your breath throughout a good portion of the 3 hours. You won't realize your butt is asleep until you stand up to leave and when it's all over, you'll be ready to see it again.

How's that for a quick review without giving away any details!

Final Thoughts

You must see this movie at least one time on the first day and again within the first week. A third follow-up viewing couldn't hurt much either... All true Tolkien fans will not be let down by the screen adaptation. Trust me. All hail the tree's!
