Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith review by Jackass Jon

Five Minute Review

So here we are again at 3:00 in the morning (May 19, 2005) after yet another midnight release of a much anticipated movie, Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith... Having said all that I present to you my 5 minute review of the latest and final chapter of the Star Wars saga.

Analysis

First off let me say that I was very excited to see the final installment of the series. I even skipped school to see each Star Wars movie as they started to come out in the 70's and was never disappointed. Until episodes one, two and yes three. And while I understand there was a lot of ground to cover with this chapter the movie was just too busy with poor CGI effects and too many dazzle-the-ticket-holder shots to be a really good movie. I guess the acting was pretty fair and they did manage to fit all the required story line details in before the ending but I left the theatre thinking I was let down...

Final Thoughts

Go see the movie, give the studio's your hard earned money, you know you want to and it's a requirement to be fulfilled if you are truly a movie-going buff. But don't go in thinking this will be the movie of the year. I even dare say this be a movie at the top of the my must see DVD releases section but not the must see in theatre section. Sorry folks, that's just how I see it (pun intended).

Jon the Jackass.
